GAZ Classic Rebuild Service

Rebuild, re-valve and convert your existing or second hand GAZ suspension.

GAZ offers a comprehensive rebuild and modification service for existing suspension systems, transforming original units into modern, height- and rate-adjustable damping assemblies.

Original MacPherson struts can be sent to GAZ for complete reconditioning to either standard or uprated specifications. During the process, units can be upgraded with a new threaded outer tube to provide height adjustment and a top-mounted damping adjuster for precise on-car tuning.

For motorsport and historic applications, GAZ Gold specification conversions are also available. These feature combined bump and rebound adjustment via a side-mounted control knob, and can be supplied with fixed or adjustable spring platforms to suit the specific requirements of historic and classic racing.

Every rebuilt or modified unit is engineered and assembled in-house by GAZ to the same high standards as our new production dampers, ensuring exceptional performance, reliability, and authenticity.

GAZ Shocks also offers a comprehensive servicing facility for all GAZ shock absorbers. Servicing prices start from £40.00 per damper, with an average turnaround time of 7–10 working days.

Customers wishing to have their dampers serviced should send them directly to us, accompanied by a covering letter that includes full return contact information and a brief description of the work required. All prices are exclusive of return carriage and VAT.
